How can you measure your current income?
Read the live income display if it identifies the rate and unit. If you measure manually, note cash before and after a timed interval without purchases, bonus claims or other cash changes. Divide the difference by elapsed seconds for cash per second.
What makes a cash comparison useful?
Keep equipped pets, slots and boosts consistent during each measurement. Record the date, setup, interval and whether cash was automatically added or manually collected. If you cannot separate a reward or purchase from income, discard that interval.
This is a disclosed measurement method for players, not a published experiment. No game income figures have been derived from this advice.
How does an upgrade payback estimate work?
Divide an upgrade's current price by the additional income per second you expect it to produce. The result is seconds under that steady-rate assumption. If there is no positive increase, this simple payback calculation has no finite result.
Payback does not account for changing prices, rebirth effects, purchases, interruptions or hatch uncertainty. Enter the comparison in the cash calculator and read the assumptions before spending.
